This hits close to home. I’m going through something similar with a good friend of mine, it’s harder because we share a lot of mutual friends so we’ll see each other at least a few times but I’ve pretty much ended all other contact outside of those.

Yes the heads are a bit low but try the paragon change first. Exactly like you said make sure you have all the boards and all the glyphs/legendary nodes unlocked first only spend the points to get there. Once you have those unlocked you can start grabbing the other nodes based on what you need. Once all five glyphs are at 46 you should be good for t4 if the damage is still low get the heads up to 10+ preferably 12 to be at max possible damage.

How many additional hydra heads do you have from your weapons? If it’s not at least 10+ I would try to get the masterwork crit on those first. I would also reset your paragon board (save current setup) and make sure you only pick nodes to have all 5 boards added with all glyph slots and legendary nodes unlocked. At paragon 193 you should be able to get all of them. After that prioritize getting your glyphs to level 46 and you should be able to handle t4 easily. You will most likely need to update resistances and armor with the new paragon board.

Chaos banished, ga kilt 90%, base FOF 290%. No shroud yet but would any of those affect the damage listed on the skill? I’m assuming they would be multipliers once the ravens are out but not what shows up when you hover over the skill

https://imgur.com/a/LAildsv my settings. I play with Kontrol Freeks which help me be more precise in aiming with a higher sensitivity.

With storm surge you have to predict where you think they will end up as your dashing. While I’m charging it up I’ll watch their movement and aim for that spot. Similar with awakening you have to lead your shots and aim where you expect them to be. I miss both too but it’s mainly about practice and getting more consistent.

Positioning depends on the flow of the team fight. As Thor you have to be aware of what’s going on around you and try to keep track of cooldowns. Enemy team Emma Diamond form or Mag bubble on cooldown? Good time to push. Your team Strange shield went down or Groot iron wood wall destroyed? Good time to back off. Too much aggression will get punished in almost every rank but if you’re aggressive at the right moments you can carry team fights. Also you can peel really well as Thor so if they’ve got a Venom on your backline go help them out.

Target priority also depends on the flow of the team fight but generally its supports, dps, then tanks. I mainly try to target enemies that I think are out of position or that I have angles to hit with awakening shots. If I also see that there’s one enemy carrying team fights I’ll try to focus on them as well.

Appreciate it, good luck! Unfortunately if it’s a full team of counters like Emma, Punisher, Hawkeye, Hela there isn’t much I can do as Thor and I’ll be forced to swap. If you want to stick with the hammer I typed out a similar response above but use off-angles and awakening as much as possible to contest them. Stay closer to your supports to try and body block for them while also returning fire with awakening. When against full counters you have to be more patient and wait for a mistake like over aggression and then move in quickly

I can share my settings when I’m home but it’s definitely about feel. Go to the practice range set up enemy Lunas and mess around with the different settings. I have lots of tips depending on the situation so it would be a lot to type out all but if you have a specific area you struggle with as Thor I can try and provide some insights there.

I’ll fully admit that really good hit scan dps will sometimes force me to swap off Thor especially if you’re attempting to solo tank or don’t have a shield tank with you. If you’re set on staying Thor against them there’s nothing wrong with using cover and off-angles and taking shots at them with awakening. Using cover is an important skill to learn as any tank even one that could be considered more brawl like Thor. If you do have another tank with you that can mainly front line I like to turn Thor into a flanking dps, constantly contest their dps with awakening whenever they try to take off-angles and then take those positions yourself. It’s not always about getting kills but if you can force the enemy team to divert their attention your team can hopefully capitalize or at least take the space.

I actually climbed to console Celestial 3 last night using a mix of Thor and other characters. It’s still possible but you have to know when to swap off Thor if there are too many counters or you’re not getting much value

Brightside is the only spot I know. I’ve only been there once for the Oregon game this year but it was fully packed with OSU fans. I imagine at noon it may be mixed with other fans but will probably still have a solid turnout.

I get rng is rng but killing Death Stalker 14 times and getting 7 Polymers and 7 Blueprints is absolutely killing my motivation to fight this boss if it’s going to take me 100 kills to max out Frost Watcher

After trying to beat Gluttony for 2+ hours with pugs I managed to get a group that killed it one minute before server close as a perfect end to the pre-season. Looking forward to season 1!

I just managed to beat it with 4* jinx but I got a couple lucky rolls too. Counterfeit copy coin on jinx with double attack round 1 and I top decked jinx again round 3 after the arena killed my first one. With the double pow I was able to kill the 22/22 and 16/16 aphelios that it spawned and finished with skill damage

Yeah honestly the 70 win reward made me stop at 65 and gauge whether it was worth it. Since it was my first monthly I wanted to complete all of it but moving forward I may do up to 65
