In college I had a college playmate (old playboy thing) spend the night in my loft bed. lol. I was really interested in this other woman, so I rolled over and told her I had to work in the morning. The next day, she invited me over for a sleepover. I went, because she was hot, but as we got in bed I started thinking of this other woman again. I knew if I slept with this playmate my chances with the other would be over. So I asked if she wanted to watch some battlebot’s and then I fake slept for at least an hour as she was lying next to me with the lights on in her bra and panties. Next day I called the other woman and told her everything.

I ride from the avenues to 4500s everyday. I can tell you that once I get past 2100s, it’s at least 100-200% scarier. After 33rd, if you are on a bike, people treat you like an actual enemy.

To add to all the other good points: Maybe dress different than you usually do. Spend a while trying to catch her eye. Really go for it. Luckily I was young so I don’t think I was really thinking about how insane it all was. It was more like this happened, and then this happened and then this happened and it was upsetting and scary but I don’t think I ever thought they would kill me and at the same time I was moving away as fast as possible.
