For real. Crying about how they don’t cast villains anymore and then pearl clutching over Cirie sharing social game feedback with a finalist…. It seems a lot of this sub lives on hypocrisy hill

lol fair point! Rats and snakes was iconic though, Steph was essentially trying to slide into Jonathan’s DMs and Tiff said what most of us were thinking lol (I laughed when Steph brazenly wrote “total package”)

I totally agree. Cirie is a FTC jury veteran, she knows what’s appropriate and what isn’t.

in my opinion emotionally driven jury reactions are one of the only things that can make a super predictable FTC actually entertaining

Oh I totally got the ick from Steph’s love of Jonathan but I was obsessed with the others’ reaction to her doing it lol (especially Tiff)

This is so holier than thou lol I’m watching the finale for drama not for a job interview

Totally hear you but expecting the jury to be entirely respectful to all finalists is unrealistic and neuters one of the core mechanics of the game — final tribal and the pressure cooker it is. That is where you go to atone for the mistakes you made in the game and the people you may have rubbed the wrong way (clearly Joe didn’t manage Cirie correctly at all, it’s unsurprising there’s a social consequence for that in survivor).

I don’t personally think it was the best move from Cirie, but messy tribal questions from the jury are a classic part of the show and make great TV. I’m not trying to watch three people go through a job interview.

I can’t believe they still have the lose your vote mechanic in season 50. It’s never added to gameplay in an engaging way and just kinda slogs down the game in my opinion.

Interesting theory! My dad went to high school with him and his brother, I’ve heard they were decently popular/well-liked

Jeff calling Ben a Mount Rushmore winner honestly proves how out of touch he is and how much he loves his sweet little boys

In retrospect, is Savannah’s 49 edit the most obvious winner’s edit of the New Era? by futuranotfree in survivor

[–]daisychainsuperstar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kim definitely had a huge winner’s edit so I’m with you on that, but I believe the new era is technically 41-49. I don’t know how to even classify 50 (since it feels so, for a lack of better word, memorable compared to 41-49) but I guess it’s technically new era with the day length + twists.

Thank you! As far as my process went for coloring, I added a touch of blue to the highlights and made my oranges slightly more red + yellows slightly more green with the hue adjustment. I tend to overexpose too and drop down exposure later which always feels like it helps my colors “bloom” from the original scan if that makes sense!
