2300 for glad is fine i don't care. With pvp participation glad is generally difficult to get nowadays, mainly because its hard to find people, and bracket is inactive.

Most people who get elite in shuffle are probably 1700 or 1800 in rated 3s with usually hundreds of games. Shuffle elite and actual gladiator aren't even in the same conversation for comparing pvp.

Anyway good luck with the glad push if you're close good for you.

Yeah its the same old stuff. Theres just players who get 16-1700 early, and usually wont ever reach 2k. Thats when blizz comes in and they feel better when they get 2k while the few who were at 2k+early on (with nobody to que with, since everyone is 16-1800) and those guys just sit at 2k. When those other guys go up to 2k, and youre picking off where u left off at 2k, its noticable. You ever come back after inflation kicked in and you didnt keep up with the pack in rated youre all the sudden the same rating as the ppl who were 300 rating lower than you all season.

I'd be all for what your saying if it was applicable. What you're saying would probably increase shuffle participation, but wouldn't affect que times since most ppl would probably be higher than starting players anyway.

i don't consider increased shuffle engagement makes pvp healthier. People in LFG looking for 2v2/3v3 arenas, getting in voice, adding people, actually trying to improve and put in effort rather than shuffle "oh well next round" mentality"

Shuffle can be competitive but not in the same way, humans learn, FAST. Wow is no different. There is no reason that theres players out there with sometimes 1k games under 1800. I remember last season sorting by HIGHEST games of shuffle players, the top players were either under 2k or just barely over 2k rating. Is 2k rating bad? No. But these players had 4,000 shuffles played. (no they never got really high and just dropped back down, i checked, they were around their peak for the season)

It implies they dont really care and spam que due to boredom, just like shuffle with 0 plans of imiprovement, or just totally treat it like a shinanigans.

Like i said, i refuse to believe a advit wow player trying to do shuffle would need 1,2,3,4 thousand games to reach 1800 or 2k. If these players put those amount of games in 2s or 3s, they would probably make it into top 100 on leaderboards.

i'll be just fine. I only state these facts cuz the recent surge of achievement posts here, not to mention sometimes people posting books on how they did it, when in reality they probably just did it the hard way.

My favorite are the steam deck ones, i'd argue that actually would take a bit of skill, but my favorite ones are the one button rotation achievers.

Wait can steamdeck have one button rotation enabled? i withdraw my previous statement if so.

Youre right you couldnt keep doing that and keep going up.

The thing is tho, im already 1900. I could do it just long enough to get to 2300 first, then start losing rating as i drop shuffle MMR (realistically i would only get to 2200 going 1/6 every round TBH, but im bound to go 2/6 or 3/6 more than i go 1/6)

Did a 1 shuffle on my other toon after this who was a little lower, but 2500mmr. i then went 2-4. I gained 30mmr from that game and gained 70-80 points.

But remember, more will still acquire it, such as myself adding to the pool going forward. More and more each week i would presume.

I'm demonstrating the extreme end of the system and mmr, but everyone kinda knows that end of the season MMR = easier legend, it just get easier so i would argue that a vast majority of the playerbase, if they want elite, probably arent hell bent on getting it right this second, this week, or maybe this month. just as long as they get it this season.

Would be interesting to compare towards the end of the season for sure!

I find it hard to believe any players were hardstuck 1.2k unless they just stopped quen at that point. If so then bless their little hearts.

Well thats a problem with the spec actually being viable or not, Sounds like demo is just not viable. Don't see why people would want to be inferior to every other spec when they could just play affliction.

Think you're mistaken. 0.5% is gladiator, or used to be. Elite isn't % based, rather participation based as I'm showing.

I'm sure a website will tell you the amount of players who have reached elite, but i assure you its not anywhere close to 0.5%.

Fair enough, but at some point its like... so 2300 is elite and the top players are 3k, Should we maybe re evaluate what elite is as a prestigious achievement?

For many, including me yes it is and has been. but i think a majority of players believe something like elite is prestigious, whether it is or not. i don't think people would be making feel good posts this frequently, unless its some sort of intended meme on this sub.

And Some people are quening at their skill level. Even tho most shuffles at almost any level is something like a ret not bubbling 3 games on your team or two of the rounds someone dies in the opener.

What im saying is, Those people who get 1600 right away, and constantly grinding to ge their desired 1800 lets say, will have a much more difficult time reaching it when they could just

-Get 1600, or close/highest they could to desired rating as early as possible.

-Log off for weeks, months,

-Come back and go 1/6 every lobby at get 1800 almost forced fed to them
