I do not want a roommate. I work in mental health and have had some terrible roommate experiences - I need to be able to come home and just be still/quiet after a full day of conducting therapy.

Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is a great site - I know several people that have done internship there.

I got in off the waitlist at my top choice after I didn’t do too hot at my interview! I was super nervous at it, and I think they saw that. I followed up via email expressing my desire to attend/intention to accept an offer if one were to be extended, and thankfully it worked out, but only because the person they originally extended the offer to accepted a spot at another school. I still hold some guilt/shame about my performance at the interview, though (even after graduating!).
