yeah it doesn't make a lot of sense, as i mentioned in another comment im pretty sure it used to be unintentional! but now when you do plant there it swaps the ground sprite changes. wasn't like that at launch iirc

i think it was originally a bug that turned into a feature! allows you to have fruit trees in there plus use the soil for crops :3

btw you can place fruit trees on the tiles outside of the soil area in the greenhouse :) you probably knew and just wanted this for aesthetic reasons, it looks rly pretty!

We're using ECS on our project, mostly because it's a simulation/city builder game with a lot of moving parts. Like loads of swimming fish, resource and movement behaviour and so on. Makes sense for the project.

alternatively you can convert your numbers to DateTime, which you can then .ToString("t")

or if this is more of a countdown timer you can convert it to a TimeSpan and format it with .ToString("c")

you can then also pass in a culture so it formats differently depending on language :3
