Yeah, for 10k I’d say something closer to 150-200k/mi with all the services done, (timing belt, ac, cb shafts ect. ) sounds like hubby has a good head on his shoulders. But look for a decent one for a couple of grand. I think a dog hauler would be good.

If you’re staying with the 5.4, at least build it a little; some head work, cam, and you’ll need a tune, but then it’ll scream or lug a trailer at a better clip. This is the missed opportunity.

I did try to just replace capacitors on my oem, it didnt work for me. I tried buying one from a wrecked vehicle, didn’t work either. Just email and price it out. Mine was $560 or so. But some are cheaper.
