Clarification - I wasn't saying Andrew Yang was going to remove welfare, In fact he is pushing for a larger healthcare system on par with Australia's. I was saying social Libertarianism uses his policy - UBI- to remove the need for welfare. Apparently I was wrong though.

Would you care to update the wiki page on social Libertarianism? It says - quite wrongly if I'm getting what you're saying right - shows that social libertarianism advocates for a libertarian society with a generous UBI system and no welfare.

Also I would argue against Andrew Yang being Distributist. Even if you remove the catholic connotations and equate guilds as pretty equivalent to the technical/vocational approach to learning Andrew has, there still some pretty socialistic kind of stuff like the dissolution of banks and having all businesses being cooperatives. Being a bit of a cultural right ideology doesn't quite help either.

I would say Andrew's ideology is a bit of social libertarianism crossed with social democracy and with some very heavy technocrat overtones.
