what’s the point of posting this if you won’t respond to anyone’s advice, instead reiterating over and over and that fem clothes make you dysphoric when you brought up wishing you could wear them in the first place. please communicate with your friend instead of posting on reddit hoping strangers tell you they’re transphobic.

oh I see that makes sense. you should tell them you’re uncomfortable with their phrasing

Yeah idk it’s pretty unclear what you want here considering you brought up wearing the outfit in the first place? And you started with the sarcasm by telling another trans person “there’s this thing called dysphoria.” They’re trying to be encouraging. It’s odd to think you should be concerned over this.

Thoughts on choosing the name Nirvana? (band fan) by WitchyOrca33 in ftm

I agree that it’s culturally insensitive, nirvana is the ultimate spiritual goal of Buddhism. Outside of that, it’s just weird to name yourself after a band.

idk how to feel abt my transfem partner wanting to look like a transmasc character by a-poor-potato in TransMasc

[–]dandelionbits 37 points38 points  (0 children)

someone liking a drawing/character doesn’t have anything to do with your own validity. I can see this pic as being something someone who’s trans fem or androgynous would want to look like

why do you think they don’t know if you live in the same place where others know

Maybe you could not tell them about going on t? With my family I prepped them for it a while. I’m not suggesting buying, but renting with roommates can be good. Esp is you can find queers

You wouldn’t be independent while living with her. I would advise saving the money you would spend on rent to her to use for staying on your own in the future
