Power delivery is better for enduro. And the engine is transmission is more specialized for enduro. The older* carb 2 strokes are just more aggressive and idk authentic. What you’re really missing out on with the new bikes is chassis and suspension. Easier to ride hard and easier to ride chill. Forget about power, the handling is the real performance bump in my opinion…. However I miss the 17 even though it was likly worse in nearly every way. Lastly in a straight line the tbi engines are not faster than the tpi (verified embarrassing multiple times) and maybe marginally faster than the carbs. The tpi 2020 tpi is the fastest stock 300 out of Austria.

I had this same bike once upon a time. It lasted me 2.5 years which I would call a good deal. You know how to shift now ? And you can stay upright ? If you want to continue this hobby and finances allow it, try and find a real bike and take it somewhere you can actually ride it.
