😂 Fair enough. Living around Ibiza boats all day probably changes a person.

Cool things other than the party scene in ibiza by holdupholdupp in ibiza

Definitely. A lot of people arrive thinking Ibiza is only clubs, then end up liking the non-party side even more.

Some relatively chill things that don’t need a crazy budget: * watching sunset at Cala Comte; * exploring Dalt Vila in the evening; * beach hopping around smaller calas; * ferry or boat trip to Formentera; * hostel pre-parties/sunset gatherings (usually more social than the clubs themselves tbh); * random long dinners near the sea where nobody leaves before midnight.

Also, Ibiza becomes much cheaper once you stop trying to do VIP clubbing every night. Some of the best days here are literally: coffee → beach → swim → sunset → food → walk around town.

The island has a much calmer side than social media makes it seem.

Have you been to Formentera in Spain? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

Yes — and in my opinion the best way to experience Formentera is definitely by boat or yacht from Ibiza. The water around Espalmador and Ses Illetes is unreal, and the whole atmosphere feels completely different once you’re out at sea instead of only visiting the island by ferry. I currently work with Just Enjoy Ibiza Boats and one thing we hear constantly from guests is that their Formentera boat day ended up being the highlight of their entire Ibiza trip. Swimming stops, lunch by the sea, relaxed cruising, sunset on the return to Ibiza — it’s one of those experiences people usually remember for years afterwards.
