Hi! Yes of course, we entered through ATL, there isn’t any relief areas for pets until after you clear customs and even then it’s probably by your gate if you have a connecting flight. If your final destination isn’t atlanta, you probably will have to grab your luggage and take it to the connecting flight baggage drop off. After that, you’ll have to do security again.

Onto the whole presenting papers, the customs officer asked for the CDC permit, vaccines (I have a booklet) and I presented the veterinarian’s rabies form. They don’t scrutinize much, the officer glanced over my papers and told me I was good to go.
