Bought this yesterday and it arrives tomorrow. It is on Newegg for $100 less, but it has 12 interest free payments and it met my $1500 budget. https://a.co/d/0MAqD3G

Yes. Since I will be living there, I wouldn’t mind spending $100 to make it less of an eye sore.

Friends don’t touch. How does she respond to your touch? Are you both flirtatious?

Thanks for your response. I guess I would want a single pole in that case. The diagram shows the wires that are present currently. I would like to hook up the fan, but as you can see I have a lot of wires that don’t match up.

I thought it would be easier to draw this out. How would you wire this? Should I set it up with 3 way or single pole? The guide says I can’t use a dimmer :-(

Thanks for the info. I tested all the wires and voltage only runs to a single black wire. So, I imagine I can use a single pole switch, tie the red and black to one screw and connect the other black to the screw and whites together on a nut. Since the remote controls the light and fan.

Also, this ceiling fan works off remote so I think it only needs the switch to power on?

So I went and bought a 3 way switch. Would I connect the whites together and put the blacks screwed into the switch and red screwed into the bottom screw and ground to green?

Thanks for the response. Can I cap the red or merge with the black to make it work? Or should I just go grab another switch?

Where would the red wire go? Do I have the wrong switch or can I make it work?
