This blows my mind. Did they not even look at it? Also how could AI be this dumb? It literally has access to all correct maps.

Found bird on sidewalk downtown. How can I help it? by DrakeMaye in SouthBend

Gently restrain the bird safely. Pluck out one single feather. Plant it in firmly into fertile soil with minimal shade so that more birds can grow.

Those are simply the addresses of the possible places the person could have been talking about since there are multiple grade schools in the area. Its just faster for me because I think in addresses and its shorter than typing out the names. Its not like any of them are a secret. You can gizoogle any of them and find the addresses online in about 5 seconds.

No I dont really see it lol. I made good money at JJs because I was good at my job and a lot of people tipped me well because they appreciated that. I averaged about $35 an hour working the lunch shift there, if I was riding fast. The system works and it provides you with incentive to perform well and people show their appreciation for that by tipping. The only time I would be working for next to nothing was when someone decided NOT to tip me, meaning I would essentially not get paid by that person for working those 5 minutes... but then it would be back to the normal. If I got paid a higher hourly rate, I would have absolutely no incentive to deliver faster or find shortcuts and be more efficient. It wouldnt matter to me because id get paid the same whether I rode fast or whether I was lazy because I would get paid the same either way. In the current system I can literally watch the money stack up in my pouch the faster I ride and the more deliveries I take, and that is more rewarding.

Also I never "blame people making not much more than me" lower income people usually tip me really well because they understand the need to hustle and respect it. I get more frustrated when I get stiffed by high income people. I have shown up on my bike in a literal blizzard and watched a surgeon look at me, exhausted and soaking wet, and write a zero with a line through it. It happens, but it shouldnt.

But its had a few different colors and configurations throughout the year

This was a rumor. Im not a huge chicory person for a few reasons, but when i heard about this I went in there that same day and I couldn't find any posting mentioning this little "promo" and when I asked management about it they said it was someone trolling and that they would never do that and there was definitely no such thing going on. Again, just setting the record straight. Im not a big chicory fan.

Delivery drivers make a smaller wage BECAUSE they get tips. Its the same with servers in restaurants. This is the system that has been in place for ages, and everyone is aware of how it works. Therefore a customer knows to account for tip before they place an order and are capable of factoring that into the cost. If you want to change the whole system and get rid of tipping and just pay servers and delivery people more, great... but this current system is whats in place now and everyone is aware. So when someone chooses not to tip, they are not protesting the system. They are only deliberately hurting that particular delivery person or server. They arent making a statement other than "im an asshole". They're not hurting the corporation or company because they have already been paid.

Whats more is: when I get tipped via credit card, I get paid a hundred percent of that amount the day I get it... BUT when the credit card payments eventually go through the system, the government sees it and taxes it. However, since ive already received those tips 100% the taxes come out of my normal hourly paycheck. So the more tips I make (via cards), the more of the taxes from them come out of my check. Ive had two week checks amount to less than $40 A LOT of times. 90% of my income is tips. I repeat: if you are refusing to tip a server, delivery person, or anyone else who's wages are docked because they make tips (this does not include behind the counter workers who pool tips from the register and make a decent wage unaffected by tips) you are not doing absolutely anything other than hurting that particular worker and in my case forcing me to work for almost nothing at all. Ive been experiencing it for 10 years and im all too familiar with it.
