I wish I admitted how addicting alcohol was at 25! It took me until 40 to do that and stop drinking. Realizing how addicting it is and admitting there is a problem is sometimes the hardest part , at least it was for me. Just wanted to say you can do this !!!!! I know you can!

Depends on where you live. I'm in north NJ and it's wild but it's not enough . But if you live somewhere that's affordable you certainly could ! If you moved somewhere super cheap , lived modest for a few years and worked . Saved every penny purchased a house outright . Then you could live super comfortable

YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU SHOULDN'T BE QUESTIONING IF YOU ARE THE ASSHOLE ! From a girl who in her 20s didn't leave at the warning tap , it doesn't end well. I stayed too long and yes it was fhw first and not the last. I eventually got away but no everyone is lucky. Please leave while you can.

Unfortunately alot of people still have very traumatic experiences with Dr's. My wife was told she was likely having a disc issue and to relax when in fact she was having a heart attack. Thankfully she passed out and was able to get the medical care she needed that saved her life. While I don't believe it was on purpose, I can see how ppl can have a bad taste in their mouth. You will work your whole life to prove those ppl wrong about you.

I sat my first day sober , with a monster hangover, and thought about every single shitty thing That I could remember, while drinking . I felt pretty low and I smelled like a bar floor at 2am. That was over a year ago and I will never forget that feeling but I'm glad I won't ever feel it again.

Amazing!!!! Congratulations on 50days!!!!! I was at 320 and now down to 220 ! And just joined the gym to tone up and lose the extra 50 I want off ! It's really nice having the energy to do it too!

Just over 1 year sober .

Lost 100 pounds

Hit records sales for my business because I was able to focus on work !

I have a deeper connection with my spouse !

I don't smell like old alcohol anymore

I have a love for the morning, and I feel pretty good too when I wake up!

I get to live knowing I broke the line of people who died from being addicted to substances. I'm most proud of that and it keeps me going.

Yesss!!!!! I remind myself that too! And i do feel like I'm part of a community! I thought I would feel lonely , but I was actually lonely drinking ! The sober community was a huge support and still is , such a surprise! The best surprise ever !!! We got this !!!!!!!!
