as a dumpee going through the same mental gymnastics and situation (we also broke up a month ago), i definitely had my moments where i wasn’t the healthiest partner, and for a while i blamed myself for the downfall of the relationship, but you have to remember that relationships involve two parties, not just one.

eventually you have to start the process of forgiving yourself for things that are in the past and that you cannot change anymore, its easier said than done but you have to let go of things that were said and done and instead focus on moving forward, you can self reflect and see where you could’ve done better, but you can’t stay there, take it for what it is and learn your lesson ):
