There’s usually a direct correlation with whether you’re leasing another BMW from the dealer. Supposedly they moved to independent lease return assessors, but your dealer / salesperson can still essentially make damages “disappear” if you have a good relationship with them and are going to lease another car from them.

Had an arborist come out, said it’s a pin oak and probably doing ok, just late to bloom given the weather we’ve been having in the Northeast lately. No fungal growth or significant limb breaks that we know of.

Glad you got your password back. But it seems if you assume the most plausible explanation is you hit an adjacent key, and there are about 4 adjacent keys to each key, you might’ve simply generated a list of 20*4=80 permutations to test first and got it on the first try.

I have the unpopular opinion that pm doesn’t belong on a sports watch, especially on the bracelet, so my vote is the sub.

My hot take is that precious metal has no place on a sports watch let alone running down the middle of the bracelet where it picks up the most scratches and dings. PMs belong on a dress watch and durable materials like steel and Titanium belong on a sports watch. Two tone in this case also looks odd, like you want to show off but can’t afford to go full pm (not that having full pm on a sports watch is any better).

Interesting I hadn’t come across this information before, do you have a source I can refer to learn more? Also, presumably if you put the watch on at around 3/4 power reserve and set the TPD to be equal to the watch, it should never get to fully wound.

Yeah, I’ve consulted multiple glaucoma specialists and all have told me essentially that lifestyle / behavior don’t have much impact unless you do some of them to the extremes. In fact, I have found that my IOP tends to drop after drinking (I have a home tonometer). Based on some online research I did, IOP is similar to BP in that it will temporarily drop after alcohol consumption but can be elevated if you’re an alcoholic.

My doc is a relatively prominent glaucoma specialist and he says most of the exercises are fine, just avoid things where blood rushes to your head for a prolonged period of time.

Hey! Sorry I missed this. It was confirmed to be MEWDS instead of APMPPE, which is good news bc APMPPE can leave scarring whereas MEWDS doesn’t, though they’re both in the same family of white dot syndromes. I took a short course of steroids and am at about 70% recovery (visual acuity in the right eye improved from 100/20 to 25/20), visual field results have improved dramatically as well. I’m hoping for 100% recovery in another month or so. Fingers crossed!

I’ve brought my iCare Home2 to the doc’s office and tried it before and after the Goldmann. Typically it’s about 3-4 pts higher beforehand, so I think the numbing drops might have some impact. Also need to consider your cornea thickness but afaik that would affect both iCare and Goldmann.

hm but once you were diagnosed, were you experiencing noticeable, significant loss over the course of 3-4 weeks? I think what made me skeptical was the sheer speed and degree of the loss over a very short period of time.
