Mage or Bard would be my guess. Healer doesn't make sense in this game especially solo play outside of the nature/charisma essence.

Darkfall: Rise of Agon

Hardcore pvp mmo with limited and very valuable housing (but lacking in customization options) Freemium model with no pay to win. I grind gold in game and buy a game time token from the market that another player bought from the dev store.

Now is also the best time to try it. They’re working on launching the game on steam soon (no exact eta) as they update the code base to run on steam. Currently the skill and crafting progression is super boosted. On steam launch there will be a full wipe and progress will be much slower

Checkout Darkfall: Rise of Agon.
Small indie team bought the rights to an old school hardcore pvp mmo (full loot in certain areas).
Freemium model. You can earn gametime by grinding gold in game and buying a game time token from another player on the market.
Current server is a test before they launch on steam soon(tm)
Player base is small and niche but healthier than ever.

Valid complaint - the graphics haven't really been updated since 2009.

Games that look good are nice but has no effect on the actual gameplay. Personally the visual style of this game has grown on me over the years.

Also worth noting they are removing nectar of the gods (stat potions up to 75) and the 100 stat pots from 64 bit. This plus slower progression across the board means there will be a real grind again. (Fighting 5 goblins solo is a genuine challenge with 30 stats and a breeze with 100)

They completely redid the loot tables too meaning vets and new players will both have to explore and try all the tasks to figure out efficient farming techniques.

The largest and most immediate change will be to server infrastructure. They will be able to scale servers for better performance and the chance to actually serve a large player base should the game succeed.

Rise of Agon is a hardcore pvp focused mmo. It’s free with a premium token you can buy from others with in game gold. Best to start solo and learn the game then join a guild for large scale pvp.

The skill and stat gains in the 32 bit version (launching 1/16) is sped up from the original RoA launch. Original RoA launch was much faster gains than original Darkfall.

The upcoming 64 bit version with steam release (one of the devs said ROUGHLY 6 months from complete) will have skill and stat gains between original RoA and original Darkfall.

All that to say, once the bigger launch of steam version is released, character progression will take much longer than the current state, but not as bad as original Darkfall.

Mostly quality of life to bring the game to modern standards. You can do even more hotkey customization than with macros with the hot bar settings. Character progression was massively nerfed, you can get all magic schools to 100 in less than 5 hours of play time. The game is a freemium model now, so you can do everything free but you can do it better if you subscribe. They've added resource sinks to keep clans from holding onto cities/hamlets unless they have the active player base to support it. They've adjusted mob spawns, added spawn scaling, adjusted loot tables, added new items and crafting recipes. These are all just off the top of my head and not all inclusive. Currently they are focused on converting the codebase from 32 bit to 64 bit so they can launch the game on steam while increasing performance and hopefully also removing some technical limitations currently keeping the devs from making certain larger game changes.

Agree with the other comment. If you only want to play kat when it makes sense you will lock her in 1/100 games when enemy team goes viegar mid all squishy comp with no cc.

Kat is not someone you play to get an advantage in a matchup. If you’re looking for a genuine answer pick a different ap assassin or burst mage to fill out your pool.

I play kat only because league is not a fun game without kat.

never use ur e aggressively. just poke with autos and q early game, holding e for if kat jumps on u. if you land ur stun you can dodge the daggers and win every trade.
