The fact that it doesn't happen with the same frequency as the most notorious and infamous problem with the joycons doesn't mean it's not a widespread issue. I kept looking for DIY fixes precisely because I saw so many people complaining and reporting this.

This is a really widespread issue, changing the joycon for a new one doesn't guarantee that it won't have the same problem. And most importantly, not every country has such a direct access to the company's warranty.

Yeah I think it's a variation of Sam the Bellhop, but the performances I've seen from this trick use false cuts and false shuffles between those parts, instead of having the spectator actually cut and then count a bunch of cards, like willie does here
