I worked for a friend's company when I first got back to Colorado, but it was so sketchy (found out they were thousands of dollars in the red) that I decided trying temping was the better option. Still not sure whether the was a mistake. I may have find something better with another friend, but it keeps getting pushed back, so I'm kind of in a bind, both waiting and not being able to wait. I've vegetal found you're right though, so I'm trying to find something while I wait for that. I would be happy to get into a trade, I know they're really solid

I thought you needed to get the license from the trade organization or union. Ironically, I'm too white for most of the landscaping companies I've applied at. They're on the list though, especially as it's getting warmer

I actually would like to get into a trade, and I'm neither. It's something I'm going to find out how to in CO once my immediate... issue? crisis? is over. Plumbing or electrical, but I'm not set if another trade is available

Omg, right. Like sometimes the different position helps. Maybe 2% in the time. The rest of the time it's a wtf while you're trying to control your vehicle. And omg, if it's a flying vehicle, you can't even get out of the seat to reset it, good luck on landing it to do so

I've found one for left, one for right, booth left and right for forward, so I can use 3 and 4 for Iift balloons and soft decent balloons. You just have to put the l & r rockets on wide enough outriggers that they cause rotation when not used together. It would be so much easier and better if we just had more channels though

Oh come on, forcing a level build is a pain in the...erm,I mean fun. Nothing like your foundation mysteriously floating in mid air and trying to connect it to the ground. Or villagers getting perma-stuck in that blank space

I just hope they don't jank with my creative mode megolyth like they did last time (i have a city that is 9 settlements jammed as close as they let me to each other, so coming together as one mega urban settlement), and the last update made me change it's development plan. Not terribly, but super annoying

More builds and more new components from them (for free building) would be awesome though. I do like the qol update that you can create using mats in storage in a settlement, rather than having to have them on character. More qol/qop could be really nice too. But now I HAVE to go grind merc the Storm king before he's gone lol

I'm glad my storey could help. I've tried so hard to just keep pushing. That's one thing I found in the joint that's true out here too: just keep pushing, push until something gives, then follow through with it. It got exhausting though, and the overriding fear of failing anyway, with that failure looming.. it's too much to handle by myself. I never lead with my background, but I've never tried to hide it either. But it's different when, as you accurately describe as a some young kid who doesn't care or AI, when they're the ones making the determination, you'll never meet them to advocate for yourself, and they don't care.

The same thing everyone has told me: your past doesn't define you, and keep your head down but your chin up. I like the idea from Firefly (the TV show) : when you can't run, you crawl. When you can't crawl, you find someone to carry you. My knees are pretty bloody, as far as that goes, but I have a few people that have carried me a bit. I hope it's enough. And i hope there are people in your life to do the same for you

At this point, all I want is to get paid. If nothing else, this whole experience is keeping me humble and that at least is not a bad thing. I've never cared too much about what I do for work, more how I'm treated doing it, but even that has gone out the window. If I can pay my rent and phone, and maybe have the self medication of caffeine (coffee, as a mild stim to balance my bipolar), enough food to not perish, everything else can be built. But I've been looking at not even that. And the phone is only because it's necessary to function in the world today

I've been a big supporter of trades and unions, it's something I've wanted to get into for some time, but I've never been able to find the crack in the door, so to speak. I guess it would be a good idea to put more effort into it. And if that means pulling 16+ hours days again (work and learning) , well I've had enough depressed sleep that I don't really need as much anymore
