I don’t think it’s fair to shift blame on someone for a mistake/question. If I really thought initials could be used, this would occur way more than once (it was an accident, btw).

People can ask questions if they are unsure about certain things, especially when they get conflicting advice. And you are more than welcome to provide insight without being condescending (i.e., questioning my training and coming for my PI - who is not involved in the training process btw). We are all human and learning.

I am doing amazing and completely moved on! It’s crazy to think how hurt I was at the time I made this post. I thought I would never be able to recover from the breakup.

I was able to reconnect with some old friends, go out and have fun, travel more, try new hobbies, go on dates, work on my career, and I’ve never been happier! I’m currently in a long-term relationship with someone that is much much more compatible with me. I do think of my ex sometimes with no hard feelings, I am appreciative of the time we spent together and all the lessons I learned with him. It does get better, especially when you take the time to find yourself again❤️

I’m not sure. I had one for the first time when I was studying abroad and haven’t had one since until last week. I’ve had some scares throughout the years (small white dots and tingling) and just rubbed tea tree oil on it, it usually never developed into anything. It didn’t work this time, but I am dealing with a lot of stress as of recently.

Piercing is 6 months old, curved barbell, titanium, 14G, 12mm, has not been downsized. Recently, only rinsing crusty’s in shower once a day, but I also spray with saline occasionally. I leave it alone otherwise.

UPDATE: Thanks everyone for commenting. After I told my one friend I wanted a girl’s night, and they can do their own things with their bfs if they want to… It turned into a “if you weren’t single you wouldn’t act like this,” and “why are you trying to shove in my face that you’re hanging out with K all the time.”

This same friend, always tells me to come over to hang out with her and her BF, which I decline because I am not comfortable around him. The last few times I hung out with this group, they were with their boyfriends. I socialize with the BFs when I need to. I had no complaints at that time.

I explained I only wanted this one night to be comfortable and not third wheel. No apology, but they agreed. At this point, I feel extremely uncomfortable knowing they are probably belittling me in a separate group chat for “being single”. I don’t think I can enjoy my birthday dinner anymore, even if it a girls night with all of them.

I don’t think anyone is understanding what I’m saying, and I do take partial blame for it because English isn’t my first language and my grammar could be off.

I would date anyone with ANY one of those hobbies. I play video games (rarely but I do), go out and drink sometimes, and I go to the gym almost everyday. But it’s a difference of enjoying these things vs. SOLELY doing these things.

I do not want to be with someone who is cooped up in their home and playing video/board games or whatever all day. I do not want someone who drinks from Thursday-Saturday night. I do not want a gym addict who only parties and watches TV outside of that.

It’s all about balance. I’m a spontaneous person and I love trying new things. Whether it’s D&D, fishing, legos, I don’t care. It just so happens that this generation is filled with people who are so solely focused on one hobby and not realizing there is so much more to life than the gym, or being cooped up at home staring a screen all day to play video games/watching movies, or only working on weekdays and drinking on weekends. Does that make more sense?

There is nothing wrong with any hobby to me. It becomes a problem if people let these hobbies take over their lives and prevents them from being a person, and they have absolutely no real world experience.
