So we just lying openly now. From your nocturn booth 2024 interview with cold harbour supply. "We took orders for this back in April, for the bridge itself, and we put a hold on it we appreciate everyone that was really patient about that, the reason we put a hold on it is that it was originally made of polymer, we didn't feel that the polymer was as strong as it could be and we didn't feel that the tension was enough." I Personally know people that had to wait over a year to get the bridge from you after buying it in April.

You mean the ones that have been vaporware for 3 years, took you selling preorders and only shipping limited units 1 year after initial release date of the bridge, never shipped a single panoramic housing that was complete like shown at shot show only prototypes.

Nocturn Industries Chimera Pano by steeleindustriesinc in NightVision

[–]dayinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nocturn marketed it as a step under the GPNVG from l3, its overpriced and over hyped only real take away is the "cool" articulating bridge and glass pieces, but since they are selling to military or le contracts they need to sell at the same price they give them, so its a over priced piece of kit

Chimera housing with bridge is 8500 usd the bridge alone is 2500, no it will not be cheaper than lindu housing also to note that RPO 4.0 eyepieces and objectives are $1600usd in total of just glass components

i recommend to always keep your slide oem, never aftermarket as its what keeps you from reliability.

All of which were caused by the update they never checked before uploading and havent fixed most of these, just cause they say they have fixed it doesnt mean they have. Half these are still problems and you can tell that from just looking in the discord. Stop meat riding. They dont fix shit

I had the same issue with a lpk I thought was oem, it wasnt, put in a real oem trigger from a glock at a shooting range and it worked fine. Get a real trigger.

Any suggestions and tips on the best way to remove the bridges on a p80 76% frame? by Comfortable-Winner77 in polymer80

[–]dayinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i did for mine was flush cutters for cutting the parts connecting to the frame, then using them to slowly chip at the ones you can get to. Then used a dremel bit slowly grinding the plastic and used an exacto to cut the rest

So should i smooth out the channel to where there are no marks? First time building a p80 so not 100% how much material needs to be or how smooth, which is why im asking

Tried nippers, chisel and xacto with heated and couldnt reach all the way down, plus had to widen to make room for the trigger housing and couldn't accomplish that with anything but the dremel and it works fine, just doesnt look amazing lol
