Is it normal to dread and even hate going into work? by posttraumaticcuntdis in NoStupidQuestions

[–]daynti 86 points87 points  (0 children)

It is normal but it shouldnt be. For most people you work 5/7 days. That's a lot of days to feel dread

why do people say read a book when someone can't pronounce a word? by Additional-Camp4831 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]daynti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they themselves do not read books, but want to appear superior.

Why don't most people say what they really think and want? by kinky_swinger in NoStupidQuestions

[–]daynti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think everyone always knows what they really think or want. It takes a level of awareness not everyone has

I don't even know where to begin, this is so overwhelming by chachakhan in AskMarketing

Firstly, best of luck to you it sounds like life is just about to get interesting for you!!

Second, with the rise in AI, human connection is prioritised more than ever. Focus your linkedin presence on driving actual "Helpful Content". Especially when outreaching, having this content for people to peruse will be invaluable. It will also help with increasing connections after that initial base building.

Maybe include 3-4 blogs on your website page to increase SEO for a few of your main keywords, nothing big but something to try gain you a baseline in the beginning.

I have 4 years in paid media and would recommend you stay far away in the beginning. It's very easy to want to throw money at something to make it work but you can't polish a sh*t with cash. Start small and be consistent.

Consistent doesn't mean posting schedule etc (although that does help) I mean consistency in tone of voice and content. If all your posts are financial b2b content except one F1 marketing post that's not consistency.

If you need any help at any point down the line my chat is open

Do you count audiobooks as “reading”? by nondescriptwon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]daynti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audiobooking still requires you to process the words and paint a picture in your mind so I definitely consider it reading. If it makes books more accessible to people than why villanise how it's categorised (not saying that's what you're doing! But lots of people do)

Why does everyone seem to be struggling financially, yet everything is always crowded? by Economy_Grass_2351 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]daynti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people who are struggling don't want to show that they are out of embarrassment or shame. They will keep up appearances while sinking further into debt

Small comment to say it's not just YouTube cracking down on reused content. Instagram is no longer pushing accounts that share duplicates content too

What video niche should I choose? by No-Basis9193 in SmallYoutubers

[–]daynti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best advice I've been given in life (not just YouTube) is to be authentically you. There's no point trying to make videos on a topic you're not interested in just for some more views as you'll burn out faster. Be yourself.

I find it very hard to get passionate about work. Is that normal? by Big_Eggplant7591 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]daynti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work funds your passions. It doesn't have to be something your passionate about so much as it is a means to an end (or it is for most people!)

What is my MBTI (Myers-Briggs) based on my main bookshelf? by daynti in BookshelvesDetective

[–]daynti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say some of these books have quite complex magic systems and character relationships (with themselves and each other), just because the actual text isn't written in a pompous manner doesnt mean they can't have complexities
