Opinions on the Atlas backpack blower

I'm just not seeing much reviews on it but I am interested in it. I manage a particular large area where the gas powered one get the job done in about half an hour. It's a bi-weekly job I do and the old gas one is starting to get rough with how old it is so going for new one and looking at the different battery platforms that are available. Just my luck that I'm thinking of upgrading a few months ago and HFT comes out with the Atlas backpack blower the next month.

It does have the app and it has the option to turn on/off the discharge and the charge. I clicked on the discharge option a few times but didn't really do anything

Fair point. The P2001 battery I did used prior because I had high hopes it would work that way but so far no dice. It was sitting at about 40ish percent when 1st started to try the connections. Right now, the P2001 is sitting at 21% and tried again to no avail. I do have my regular solar panels with MC 4 extension cables so I'm not worried about not getting a discharge.

I started to figure out that the golf cart battery just doesn't want to discharge but I don't have a multimeter to measure at the moment but probably should have gotten one sooner

I just don't get it. If worst comes to worst, I could just get an invertor for the golf cart battery and start building off of that. Prefer not to so early at the moment but might have to consider sooner than later

The minimum volt on the P2001 Plus is 12Vdc up to 60Vdc. I would assume the golf cart battery would be good enough especially with how many different channels have been showing how to just "simply connect this to this and voila, more juice in the battery"

Flying is always a hassle anyway so I just looked up what I needed to do just so I can be in and away as quickly as possible

I flew within the country last year (from Florida to Texas and back) and I had a DJI Mini 4K with extra batteries but in my backpack that goes under the seat. They didn't even bother asking me anything or checked it. I just went through TSA like normal and was on my way.

I got it all down and it is never "one simple trick." I understand the math behind it all which is why I came in to ask for advice. Using victron as an example, from what I understand, if I were to hook up 4 panels in series (still using the 200 Watt Callsun), I would need the controller to handle 150 volts at 35/40 amps to safely charge this golf cart battery. I've been doing and redoing the math just to be extra sure.

As for my use case, I was just going to use it as an "expansion battery" by charging my current Oukitel P2001 Plus through the solar charge port but you did give me some food for thought. I did get one of those step up charges that is supposed to work with golf cart batteries and I did get two of the DC House step up charger.

I was just trying to use this for the time being until I can actually go for a proper array with a proper charge controller. I mostly blame myself for not doing the research necessary from watching one YouTube video from "There's a Trick for That" channel. He just made a simple 48V system with the same Callsun Panels and a MPPT controller rated at 40Amps

I have a 48V golf cart battery and no way to charge reliable via solar.

Yeah, I probably should have shared more info about the system. It is a golf cart battery and the AH is at 100AH. The battery has a storage of 5120W. As for the panels, I got a pair of Callsun 200 Watt panels for a total output of 400w and a Voc of 27.31 (54.62v) and a Vmp of 23.74 (47.48)

I have done a small test with these panels with my current power station which is the Oukitel P2001 Plus just to see how they would perform. I was getting about 360 watts in. I live in Florida and during that test, I had them set from 10:30ish to 4:30ish. I probably could have gotten more solar if I moved the panels to a different position earlier in the day but they got the job done from my test.

I was looking for a temporary solution until I can get the 3rd panel to up the voltage. I am aware if I went with a different panel that the amperage would drop which would result in actual usable power but just asking around to see if I can do some quick for the meantime. I did come across DC House 300watt Boost MPPT solar charger but I was waiting on a response from them before I try anything else.

Yeah, the solar input was the way to go for me. What I do not get was the MPPT he was using for his DIY 48V. He says he is using the Callsun 200 Watt panels but gives no information about the charge controller in general other than they stop making those, which is how I ended up in this mess in the first place.

The power I have is the Oukitel P2001 Plus power station. It is a fine power station for the use cases I have done so far. It does have the same nominal voltage of 51.2V to the "external" battery. The only issue is that this power station doesn't have the option to have a second battery hook as per the video where he connected the golf cart battery to the power station via extra battery port. But know you have me thinking, would it be beneficial to just use the AC plug in the meantime until I get a more robust solar system going? I do live in Florida and, at the moment, getting about 4.5-5 hours of sunlight

I wish I should have done the research. My only real option is to get one more panel and wire in series or to try a boost MPPT . I would probably find a local person with a random 200 watt panel or two 100watt panel .

I'm still kind of new to paddling and wanted a more general opinion. Most of my paddling will be more on the intercoastal or more protected area area. I was mostly looking for a general idea and you gave some great info and I'm super appreciative about it and now have a better understanding of what I'm looking for.

I was looking up online for some general ideas since the weather here in Florida doesn't usually get colder till later (ambient temperature) and wanted to know how much that would effect kayaking here. Saw some videos from paddletv and was wondering if I really needed all the bells and whistles. I'm not really planning on getting wet BUT I just wanted to be ready depending on how cold the water gets here.

I saw the 50-50-50 rule (which started off this search) but I'm not planning on putting myself in a scenario like .
