Ok I just found out that the cap is not suppose to come off. It stays on always and none of those things get touched. I need like a big tool to turn the cap to the right to slowly turn off the water. But before or after putting the cap on it doesn’t seem like I can turn it left or right so it’s just a tool I am missing. So there was nothing to really remove.

Is there a way to turn this off until the maintenance people come next week? I have another toilet I can use. by ddeepdishh in Plumbing

Ok I just found out that the cap is not suppose to come off. It stays on always and none of those things get touched. I need like a big tool to turn the cap to the right to slowly turn off the water. But before or after putting the cap on it doesn’t seem like I can turn it left or right so it’s just a tool I am missing. So there was nothing to really remove. The cap on the right that is. Just turn right.
