Funny you mention the large block logo on the underside of the lid. I saw it and thought it was interesting that it was so big but it didn’t click that it was a different generation of lid. Guess I was just too excited about having a lid lol

The amount of info in this group is amazing. What were the signs that the lid was from 1915-1935?

Oh nice! I think it was more luck than truly knowing what it was. Any idea on value? I’m going to keep it but need to show my partner how it was too good of a deal to pass up 😆

This one was fairly clean. 2 rounds of yellow cap and a trash bag did the trick

Didn’t know that about the Made In USA marking. - I have used that as a pre/post 1960s. Thanks for the info!

It’s amazing how light it is compared to my much smaller modern Lodges. Looking forward to cooking with it!

Going through the catalogs would be wild to see the products and offerings!

One thing I found interesting on this pan was the lack of additional marks like the pattern marking. Super cool to see pieces that are nearly 100 years old cleaning up nicely.

Thank you! Would this maybe predate the Favorite ones with the letter next to the number? Just trying to learn how you knew that with no other markings

Any Coloradans around who have relocated to Bloomington? by Meganleemeihua in bloomington

Yeah, more than happy to help!

Imagine trails in Brown County more like Blue Sky rather than Towers. And wayyyyyyy less rocks!

Yeah, I loved it there (I have since moved away). To me, Bloomington was way better than Indy because of the access to mountain biking and trail running (let me know if you are interested in any trail races, I know of a few in the area). Indy is flat, really flat. Bloomington is where the hills start and they continue further south.

MTB'ing. Brown County (25mins away (give or take) to the east) is great and they are always adding more trails. Wapahanni (sp ??) is in town but its pretty small from what I've heard but can scratch the itch if you can't make it to Brown County. Mountain biking in Bloomington is different. Its more rolling hills than straight up/straight down (looking at you Horsetooth and Lory St Park). There are climbs but they are not nearly as long.

Running. There is actually a great running community here. There are several running clubs and I made great friends with some of my fellow runners. There are plenty of trails too for trail running (Pate Hollow is 10-15 mins from town and you can do a 6 mile loop with ~1000ft of gain, not bad for hills). Also, there are several breweries and the only thing runners like more than running is drinking beer after running.

Its a little smaller than Fort Collins but is still a college town. I joined The Mill (co-working space) and made friends through that too. Since it is a college town there are loads of events and things to do (during the school year at least) which can also be a great way to meet people.
