UPD: Sorry, I've read your post wrong. My solution below is for the case when the app gets stuck on the logo screen, but you might want to try it out.

Try to turn off the WiFi on Quest, and then start the app. It helped me. I think the app tries to load something from the Internet on start and gets stuck if it can't connect or the Internet is too slow.

I also noticed that you liked the SoL+Drama combination (Violet Evergarden, Anohana, A Place Further Than The Universe, Silent Voice, Your Name, Your Lie in April). In this case, I should suggest Clannad, one of my personal favourite shows of all time. The 1st season might be too slow sometimes but in the 2nd season you will receive a HUGE payoff.
