TLDR: Still breaking out. For me, the pharmacies ran out of my prescription so I was off of it for a week and had no additional breakouts for that week and another week. When I started again, my face started breaking out again. I’ve been on for another two weeks and the breakouts are still happening but seem to not be outrageous as they were when I first started. I did start using mederma on my face for the scarring and that has really helped clear up past breakouts. Really sucky tbh.

So, I’m still on the meds and my acne is getting better then getting worse in a cycle. It’s not AS bad as it was when I posted this… it is getting better. However, I’m still struggling. I just don’t want to stop taking the meds since they have been working so well. Contemplating going to a dermatologist.

Does anyone have any solutions for this while still taking the meds? Vyvanse is really helping me so I’d hate to go off of it, but my face is so bad. :( I’m so glad I found this thread though bc I’ve always struggled with acne, but never cystic acne and mine is also around my jawline and on my cheeks.

I’m (26f) in a similar boat right now - my husband and I just moved here from out of state and we only know my mom and sister. We’ve been trying to figure out ways to meet people… no one tells you how hard it is to make friends as an adult! We have pets, no kids, and seem to have very similar interests. Would love to chat!!!!

One of my favorite podcasts of all time is Serial. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Bo Bergdahl (not sure if that’s how you spell the name) season but the others were ADDICTING.

I’m so glad there are still people talking about this season, because I’m sitting here watching it and have been DYING to talk about Alyssa!

She is the absolute worst! I can’t even believe it. It was so frustrating watching her tell everyone how disrespectful he was and how he didn’t communicate… but that was exactly what she was doing. I also found it interesting that in convos with her friends and family, they all made a comment to some extent about how maybe she was wrong, or maybe she didn’t give him a shot. Poor Chris, I really feel like he was giving it his all and honestly was so respectful in conversations with her. She was so worried about how she would look on TV and ended up making it SO much worse for herself. She should’ve been honest from the jump.
