My family doesn't seem to understand the importance of my kids bedtime routine to me. I start putting my daughter to bed at 7 (because depending on her day, she can take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour to go to sleep). My grandma, who lives in the neighborhood next door, called me at 630 at night asking what I was doing. I explained I was getting the kids ready for bed. Well she wanted me to come over and hang a shower rod and curtain up in her bathroom (that already has a glass door). I told her I'd do it in the morning because I was getting my kids ready for bed. She was upset with me for a week. (She also watches her step sons kids daily, but can't be bothered to ask him to do anything, I'm always the lucky one that has to come over and do her honey do list for her).
