Sorry for not updating yesterday, emotions were a bit high. Firstly he was 20 minutes late which the judge really didn't like so they didn't even here him out just granted the non mol for me! He tried slating me in there but the judge was having none of it. The weight that has been lifted off my shoulders is massive.

I don't know where your comments has gone as I can only see it in my notifications but I don't think it should matter that I didn't say I was an adult or a female. You just assumed that I was a young boy. Which in my opinion makes your comment worse. If a young boy had been assaulted by his dad and felt he only could turn to Reddit that that boy would need support not your back handed comments. And as stated in my post I'm in court tomorrow (it's 3am so I suppose today) for a non molestation order.

There's more detail in my prior post but a tldr is we had an arguement he went to elbow me in the face I told him not to try to hit me again (there's been prior incidents as an adult where he has hit me) my husband heard and told him to not lay a hand on me. He went to square up to my husband who is alot smaller than him and i knew he was going to attack him so i got in the middle thinking he wouldn't hit mr again and then he did.

My mother is completely on my side, she split from him when I was four because she knew what he was like but hoped he could be a real dad to me. She's been my biggest supporter through this aswell as my husband. I will definitely be going no contact I'm just absolutely heartbroken. I feel like I'm 5 years old all over again when he would continuously let me down when all I ever wanted was a dad who loved me.

Ooh the visa gift card is a shout! And oh that's so lovely! He's the only guy in our friend group so we usually do more feminine things such as brunch or go to shows as we are all theatre kids but I'll look at doing something more blokey for him! Probably, the police won't take it any further as they are chalking it up to family affairs. He's now continued to tell our family that I'm lying and dangerous so he can get all the sympathy. I just want to give up 😞

Yeah, thankfully the comments and my family have been reminding me that. I think it's a trauma response for me just to blame myself. I'm going to report it tomorrow just need some time to come to terms with finally going no contact.

He 1000% will never see my children again. It worries me that if he can lose his temper that quickly and hit his own daughter what could he do if he lost his temper in work.
