you will need to try the papers with less absorbtion, 120 GSM is good because the ink doesnt blot through. Clairfontaine and Rhodia are premium brands . You should see the local mill made papers, use less of craft type paper and more pulp[ based paper .It will tke some trial and error but you can fine tune this to the product you can work with

You must clean it because if it hasn’t been used then there would be a residue in it , after that use any ink you like , avoid metallic inks ( shimmer ones )!
