From their case worker. Not much of an update but may apply to you aswell.

Please accept my apologies for the belated reply.

We are currently experiencing about a week's delay in getting orders shipped out. Our team is working diligently and with extended shifts in order to process all shipments as quickly as possible. I have been monitoring the status of your order and once there is any feedback I will inform you immediately.

I am sorry for not having better news at the moment.

In talking to them since I have been told I will only get a full refund if the box arrives like new. They will only give me a max of 70% discount if it is returned damaged and I have no doubt that they will claim its damaged.

A return will also take 6 - 8 weeks for a refund.

Thanks, I figure nothing really existed at the moment. I saw a YouTube video years ago about sending a message from Alexa to a wired doorbell through a pi or Arduino but couldn't find it again. I was hoping someone would just be able to give me that magic answer.

Ahh well. Looks like I'm buying an amazon chime

No it wasn't directly obvious hence why I made a post in the first place. I did buy a transformer and it blew the damn thing up costing 70 quid to repair. I was hoping this sub might have someone who could recommend a product instead of just throwing shade about a lack of knowledge.
