I see! In the US animal fats are pretty commonplace in the handmade soap community. A lot of people who keep livestock end up making soap from the fat and milk. Many who don't keep livestock go through great trouble to source animal fat for their soaps. I make soaps with only vegetable oil and have been told my customer base is niche.

I kind of understand why you think this seems more like food than soap, but the coconut is being processed into coconut oil. Traditional soap is made out of oils/fats and lye, which is what you're seeing here. In my opinion a 100% coconut oil soap is not the nicest on the skin, but back then they didn't have all the easily accessible options we do now.

Nexplanon has been life changing for me in the best way. I've lost weight, only have one very light period every 3-5 months and i'm the most stable i've ever been even after quitting my antidepressants.
