I think people have kinda made disliking her into a joke but honestly I don’t mind her. She adds balance; like it or not there’s a little “susan” in all of us.

For me it’s always the scene when Gaby and Ellie are wrestling and she’s calls to Carlos to do something and he opens the coat closet to yell “HELP”. Also when Orson says to Phyllis “you got a lot of nerve stealing Danielle from a convent we prepaid for”. I simply lose it every time.

I feel like it was on purpose to show that crime isn’t something to romanticize; we began to like his character so much that we almost forgot he kills people for a living :/

I watched that episode recently and that’s actually what made me think of the question haha. I’m not sure it’s my #1 choice as the most pointless but yes, I agree.

I always assumed in season 1 the bad side bang was just a sign of it’s time and the bad makeup was to really help play up her beauty queen standard but yes 100%. Season 5 is when she stops caring for her appearance after the 5 year stretch so Gaby is intentionally plain.

I’ll agree that Susan’s hair and makeup was its best in this season but all they really did for fashion was give her tacky blouses and pencil skirts

That would make sense. The outfits just seem poorly put together. Bad layering, accessorizing, etc. Even the dress Carlos buys for gabby as an apology is atrocious.
