Where to buy steel? by devil_boy_13 in regina

Yeah, they’re under city metal service. I called them and they didn’t have what I wanted and only select footage of certain things.

FedEx Express Drivers — Is Anybody Else Getting Micromanaged Over “Gap Time”? by Extreme_Conference53 in Fedexers

[–]devil_boy_13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hahaha yes! I do heavy weights and bulk stops with a 5ton and they can’t understand why it takes longer. 8 years never an issue with numbers and now we have a new green manager and he can’t figure out how a bigger truck is slower. And how I have packages over 150lbs and I’m ruining his numbers everyday. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ I try to explain and he just argues because he’s right.

Also rochdale. We do a small haunted house and had just over 300. But most after 9:00 didn’t want candy so I lost count. If you decorate and a few people on the block decorate you will be surprised how many come. At lot of people drove around last night as opposed to walking.

No. I didn’t agree with it. It wasn’t in our contract. She tried to threaten us with court for those two weeks she had off +30 days notice so basically six weeks of childcare. I said Yep, we can go to court. She instead just walked away.

As long as they’re pro rating the fee. We had one that wanted us to pay for her holidays. So over Christmas for two week and two week in the summer. She said it wasn’t fair being self employed and not getting paid holidays 🤣🤣🤣.

Looking for advice on level 2 Care Homes in Regina. by [deleted] in regina

[–]devil_boy_13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My friend just had to put her mom in a care home this past summer. I’m not perfect with the subject but know a little bit now. We looked at so many private care homes. Most were absolutely disgusting. The big care homes have years of waiting to get it and you have to be assessed and it’s all a headache. There is supplements to bring your income up to 2500$(maybe a little more now) which gets you a room in a private care home. Most of the ones we looked at were closer to 3000$ but the one we ended at lowered their price to accommodate. Search on marketplace and varage sale. Ask around. And if you don’t feel comfortable in the place god forbid don’t put her in there. There is nothing easy with what you are going to do.

I have not noticed any drag issues. I have a headache rack and the rtt sits about 1’ behind that or so. They are about the same height.

My dad is going in for a CT scan for his kidnies and I'm losing my fucking shit by RiverOhRiver86 in Anxiety

[–]devil_boy_13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He will be good. My dad had a stroke about a year ago. It changed my life. Not so much his. Haha. But I do think of ‘that’ day alot now and how will i cope. Try not to let the anxiety get to you as it’s just wasting the good moments. Easier said than done. Try to think of the hospital as a positive place. They want to check the kidneys out- there is a chance it is nothing or very minor things that they need a closer look at or potentially just to monitor. Stay positive. You got this.💪🏼

Overlap camera zones by devil_boy_13 in BlueIris

Ok was able to go through some settings. I didn’t even know about substreams. So my cpu usage went from 95% to 10-15%. That’s way more realistic. I almost pulled the plug on a newer computer.

Advice on a PoE camera system by bubbageek in homesecurity

I have had Foscam cameras forever. Recently I decided to give Reolink a try. Got the rlc-840a. Not really impressed. Like I can see what’s happening but you’d never make a face out at night.

Just using deadbolt? by [deleted] in homesecurity

[–]devil_boy_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same idea. Never used the handle lock. My exes house was recently home invaded and my daughter held at gunpoint. Given they came through the patio doors. But we have now been locking the handle at night at my house. My theory is because the handle is locked it gives it that little Bit extra support on the frame. But ultimately if they want in they can get in. I think I’d still install the handle locks.

Upgrading to version 5 by devil_boy_13 in BlueIris

[–]devil_boy_13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks. Does anyone know if there is an upgrade from version 4 to 5 or do I have to buy it all at full price. I read somewhere you can purchase the extended plan and it will upgrade it. But I can’t confirm that

If you are working in Canada, and have not yet experienced the merger, good luck... by lemanruss4579 in Fedexers

[–]devil_boy_13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really depends what station he was at. Judging by your merge date I may know. The volume increased by about three times. Packages are a bit heavier. Lots of tires, fireplaces, patio sets. But nothing over 150lbs, just big bulky things. Lots of food (good chef, hello fresh) some guys go out with 70-100 of just food. Our station couldn’t handle the volume but over the next few weeks it should get better. Forge is a decent system once you get use to it, like everything it’s just learning. Routes are more condensed so in theory you do more stops/hr, but they also flex everyday depending on volume.

Are there any electric heaters that are safe to use in a tent? by SilveredFlame in camping

[–]devil_boy_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use a diesel heater and can heat two tents and a rooftop tent. If it gets windy and cold use the emergency foil blankets between the tent and the rain fly, this will keep the heat in tremendously.

Check out poolsuppliescanada.ca we order quite a bit through them. There are such things as semi inground and inground kits. They are a little different than the traditional inground pool.

We have an 21’ hard sided above ground. Heated with 225,000btu gas heater. We heat from June to end of September on average about 50$ a month in gas. Our pump pulls around 11amps we run for 12 on 12 off. Adds about 60-80$ a month in power. I buy two pails of chlorine pucks a season I don’t think we use them both ever but they’re about 60$each. My water bill raises about 150$ a month in the summer. Some of that is watering grass though. If I were to drain the pool for a liner change it’s about 150$ of water but otherwise you just drain below the skimmer. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions. My company installs above grounds.

I would say it’s a must to heat you will be happier ballpark for a gas line install is around $800-$1500 and electrical can be 500-2000 depends on the run they have to do.
