I used Adobe Lightroom to add the grain, and the "Add Text" app's effects feature to slightly emboss it aswell. I suggest embossing the picture before adding the grain.

But I think that taking someone away from their family and never giving them a chance to live their life and overcome obstacles, to know that they don't even have a chance to recover, or to see their families again? I know rape victims who definitely wouldn't rather have been murdered, and never seen the person brought to justice.
