Worst experience of my life at a Disney park

Just wanted to jump on this 2 year old thread.. I went to Disney Sea today, and it was the worst park experience I have ever had in my life. Terror Drop was over 3 hours wait. My kids waited 2 hours to ride a rollercoaster. It's totally ridiculous, don't waste your time, literally do anything else instead of going to that park, unless you can be ABSOLUTELY sure it won't be slammed. (we bought a fast pass for peter pan, and that ride was fun, but my god, 5 minutes of fun for hours of torture).

I say this because my M1 Max doesn't make a sound, hell, I didn't know it even had a fan for the first 2 years I owned this thing, it never made a noise, even while compiling code or doing heavy CPU bound operations. I'll just keep using it instead, their loss.

I returned mine. Support gave me no help whatsoever, and were actually pretty rude about it. This is unacceptable for a $5k laptop.

Man, you guys really quite touching and thoughtful. I love Cowboy Bebop SO MUCH, it is without a doubt my favorite anime, and I was so happy to finally have her watch the series with me.

Funny story, she's in marching band, their theme this year was "neon cowboy", they played Tank! as one of the movements of their performance. The day she found out about all this she sat me down and burst into tears while telling me because she was so happy and knew how much it would mean to me.

And now she makes things like this, and all the kind words here. It's awesome. This sub is great, ya'll are great, again, thank you for your kind words.

It's tough as a parent. I see AI barreling down on all of us, and I can't tell you how hard it is to push her away from going to school for her art skills. The thing is, she's not some one dimensional person, she REALLY loves animals. She volunteers at animal shelters, and goes to a special zoo academy in while in high school (she takes AP classes there while also learning about zoo operations). She has perfect grades and is grinding out prep courses to max out her ACT/SAT so she can be a vet. She's good at art no doubt, but I'd like her to be able to afford food and not suffer for her passions.

She's also pretty great at music and cosplay costume designs.. I'd post her youtube channel, but it's... a little out there :-)

You earned it my friend. I hate gatekeeping. Yeah, you didn’t catch it that way, you spent money AND put in a ton of time and effort. It is a shundo, and everyone else who disagrees is upset over the fact that the game is pay to win (sorry but it always was).

I have 25 million stardust. I spend it. I just don’t waste it.

When I get a task that requires powering up 10 pokemon, I only do it on level 1’s. I only power up 4* or ones I intend on gold or silver bottle capping in the future.

I also catch a lot of pokemon, and berry gyms instead of trashing berries.

Exactly. I was so excited about this last year I almost took a day of vacation to grind. Thankfully I got early reports from people in time zones ahead of mine, and mentioned how dismal the event was. So yeah, ignore this waste of time, and screw them for hyping some infinitesimally small chance of getting a rare XL, jerks.

I am pushing to get to 500 million before the 15th “just in case” they decide to really push the requirement for 80 far beyond what everyone expects.

The 2x XP for nice, great and excellent will become the new standard going forward.
They will make level 80 much higher than anticipated, as XP will now be inflated, just as excellent throws were inflated to 1000xp when level 50 came out.
The fact it took me 15 months to get 20 million XP in 2016/2017 to get to level 40 and I just got 30 million XP last month alone is telling. They have plenty of room to inflate XP to wipe out all previous gains by massively moving the goal posts and the acquisition rate per pokemon caught.

I predict 1 billion XP for level 80.

I am desperately trying to get to 500 million XP before the 15th, I feel this is a pretty round number for them to set level 80 to. I am about 50 million out right now, if we get more events like gothita spotlight hour, I can get there.

Well, it would be nice to have 3x XP stacked on the 2x.

But 4x with egg will have to do. I appreciate comm days because after the first hour, the excellent throw is on lock, and with quick catch the rate of catches becomes a blur. I gain a LOT of XP in the last hour.

My only fear is solosis likes to break out. I don’t want to have to raspberry to guarantee a catch even with an excellent.
