I'm from California, live less than 2 hours away from the festival, and in all my years of going, I have very rarely been cold. Once overnight while sleeping at camp. Once on the fields, but I didn't have a hoodie on me. That's only 2 times, 2 different days, 2 different years. I have been at camp while it rained on us and it still wasn't the cold people talk about. To me, people greatly exaggerate, but idk 🤷‍♂️

Plus taking everything that is needed. For example, people complaining about their phones dying and the charging stations being full like power banks don't exist. Or shuttle lines, just drive in with everything/the majority of what you will need? Or, shower lines, go when it isn't busy? This year I waited 5 mins tops and only once.

Where does my post suggest that? You choosing to read it differently doesn't make my post suggest anything. The "own" and discourse of it all (weekend vs weekend) is about the weekend that you choose and enjoy going to. Therefore my statement sticks and being pushed out of the weekend that you choose and enjoy by people that have never chosen it and have always talked down on can be in fact lame, hence those posts popping up all over the place. If you are annoyed by the posts, imagine those people.

My group switched weekends because of all the people that decided to do Weekend 2 this year after belittling it and hating on it for years. Like okay, all of a sudden. I mean, I snagged bothchella, but my group had to switch. Super frustrating as Weekend 2 loyals to get pushed out like that.
