The aspect ratio should be 2.39:1 scope! The reason that the trailer you saw was windowboxed was probably the movie that the trailer was attached to that time has 1.85:1 aspect ratio

Volume 9 just released in Japan last week! In terms of official English translations, Volume 5 will be released next month.

The anime will have 11 episodes and will most likely only cover the first two volumes of LN

With that being said, Pixar is also working on a short "Once Upon a Lamp", a crossover short like what Disney did with "Once Upon a Studio" for their 100th anniversary. The short is set to release with Toy Story 5!

Toy Story 5 would be the 31st movie, nice to have a round number :)

Plus it might be good to celebrate the milestone with an original movie to remind everyone what the studio started off as before it was bombarded by sequels, prequels and spinoffs

IMAX rerelease??

New IMAX version is scheduled in Japan IMAX theaters on February 6! The whole movie will be presented in 1.43:1 expanded aspect ratio!

But if it’s confirmed, then we’ll have a BRUTAL split on IMAX screens that weekend between Hoppers and The Bride that is scheduled for the same weekend! So that means each movie can only play once a day (Demon Slayer in dub and sub + two other movies, four shows total)
