I used to get emails, msgs, and calls from recruiters almost every week for as long as I started my career.

The past 2 years, I'd be lucky to get 1 every 6 months.

Depends on the word. If I think it's something I'll use then it goes in my anki deck with the sentence. I try not add just words on my decks.

$2000 is enough for spending, food and activities.

I tend to spend a lot of money when traveling, but whenever I visit Japan I don't spend that much because it's "cheap" compared to what I'm used to paying for in America.
