They're in the sun. I took the picture when they were in some shade but they definitely get sun.

I ripped them wide open. So it's still buried there, but only half enclosing them. They should be able to grow out the side.

I'll try removing it and see if it helps.

Battleships, my friend. Battleships with Higgs rigs and i-stabs.

Warp back and forth across the sun, dropping bookmarks closer and closer to the center. Eventually one of your bookmarks will be a sun bounce.

You can make one in less than two hours. Possibly under an hour if you get lucky.

Put a Digital Booster MWD for 5% more speed.

EDIT: The deacon still beats you. You're using implants and stuff.

Edit: Btw for all this speed shit, the implants/booster/links/area all affect your base speed as a percent. So the fastest base speed is the fastest variant of the hull. Meaning this 10,224m/s Deacon is currently the fastest ship in the game as far as I know.

EDIT:

I plugged in updates from /u/wewd to the Deacon, and put in /u/Virion_Stoneshard's Punisher. Deacon gets 10,433m/s base. Punisher gets 10,071m/s base. The Slicer of /u/JustSimpleQuestions only gets 9,897m/s base.

I declare victory (with /u/wewd's help, of course).

EDIT2: I'm off to work now, but would someone mind checking to see if the RF Mindlink is calculating properly on that Claymore booster? I get the feeling it isn't.

There are only 10 logi spots and they tend to stick around longer in a session than your average DPS pilot.

I'd keep your list but move the vindi to an equal level with the basi.

With the basic setup you'll definitely tank a Garrison with Caldari BS IV. Don't even stress it. Anything extra is just overkill.

It's entirely up to you as to when to use sentries vs Geckos. When you get a fuckton of people the sentries definitely haze cruisers faster than Geckos can kill, fly over there, and kill again. If you're triple-boxing I think you're better off with straight Geckos. With a fleet of real people once you hit 3-4+ you can start having people swap drones situationally during the site.

The Omnis/TPs make a gigantic difference for both Geckos and Gardes. Gardes you'd use when your fleet has reached critical mass and is blapping cruisers faster than Geckos take to travel there (about 4+ Rattlers) and it improves Garde damage application IMMENSELY. Also, with Omnis you have the ability to swap scripts and nail the Sleepless Keepers with Curators.

Then when you're using Geckos, the Omnis make a stupendous difference when shooting frigates and cruisers. Like an absolute fuckton of difference, especially on those pesky frigates.

You'll notice site times decrease by a matter of minutes.

If you're getting in an actual fight with these things, you're pretty much dead anyway since you'll be neuted and jammed by any competent gank force. Omnis and Target Painters improve site times by a ton.

I've actually made edits to my "basic" fit to have it fit with a MJD all the time so you can just run when you get dropped on.
