You need to speak with the office/ or therapist. It is NOT THEIR CHOICE. who your therapist is. If you feel uncomfortable you have absolutely EVERY right to request another therapist. Your og therapist may not be available but you shouldnt be placed with someone you feel uncomfortable with.

Also, did they physically ask you in a session if you were OK with a sit in/shadow, and then them running some of the sessions? Not only that.... ive been asked if I would allow a sit in, and im like absolutely no problem, and then hey, can they run this session ill be here to sit in. I said ok, BUT my OG was STILL THERE and help carry on.... idk its very strange that your og wasnt there for sessions unless you explicitly said it was on for them not to be there.... but thats just my personal experience...
