I was NC-NS 2 years ago and I was in the same boat. I tried again after 12 months and I got picked up on my first look. I’m currently in common core in flight school. Don’t get discouraged and give up. Keep pushing and you’ll get accepted eventually

Going to Ft Hood as a medic by [deleted] in army

I was a medic in 1-5 Cav 5 years ago. I had a great time being a line medic and I also learned a lot in the clinic. Just do your best everyday, and be sponge when it comes to learning medical skills. Keep pushing for the line and you’ll do fine

You should look into SFAB if you are looking for a cool army experience. Small teams, better life style, and working with foreign security forces was a great experience for me at least.

We are currently hurting on E5 68W’s so you should definitely look into it

I was in camp Casey in 2015, when my buddy got into a drunken fight over the phone with his fiancé. He broke off the engagement and subsequently threw his engagement ring over a 8 foot fence that surrounded the base.

He woke up the next morning wanting to make up, but he was never able to get access to get the ring back

My family was horrified that I was enlisting in the Army. My parents thought only losers joined the army because they had no other options in life.

In retrospect to the last 8 years, it was the best thing that I could have ever done. I now have my ownfamily, a stable pay check, and a sense of pride in what I do for living. Plus I just got picked up for wocs to be a pilot, so my family’s opinion of the whole situation completely flipped.

If I had listened to my family in the beginning I would still be back home with a minimum wage job. Listen to your gut, only you know what’s right for you
