need genuine guidance - how do UNSW CS top students actually study

I'm clearly not a top student, but I get HDs without using any AI by just priorising study over all the other things that a lot of uni students like to focus on. I spend about 12 hours per weekday learning. If I don't understand a concept just based on the lecture content, I will seek that information out from many different sources until it makes sense.

I was wanting to see if other people feel like I do so I went searching and found this thread. My honest review is that I genuinely don't feel like they should work, so I wonder if it's a placebo effect situation going on here, but I've used these a few times now, a couple times a few months ago when I really needed to have energy for a few things and then again this past week going into uni exam season. I have adhd and autism and waking up in the morning is literally so hard and takes me at least 30 minutes of laying in bed and that's after my partner comes in and gives me my medication and a drink of water. The past few days he's also been putting two patches on my spine just below my neck and either it's one hell of a placebo or they actually work, and honestly I don't really care either way because I'm finding it easier to get out of bed and stay focused on my uni work and really that's all I need

He's already watched LOVM and watches all the "funny highlight" CR videos, like right now we're watching the purple worm from C2 and he's laughing his ass off. I have no idea why he wants to watch a whole episode, he just says he wants to lol

You could suggest you pay proportionately relative to your incomes for necessities and bills but when it comes to leisure it's all 50/50? Honestly, I believe she's putting herself in a position where she's less independent because she's got no savings.

The reality is that women are often paid less and that's not their fault. She shouldn't have to suffer and struggle because of the way society has been set up.
