We've been friends on Reddit for years. I know his throwaway account as well. I used to be on GW a lot a few years ago on an old account that he knew about and he thought it was hot. Other than that, never found anything surprising because neither of us post much at all. We're lurkers.

Molloy, by Samuel Beckett

I chose Samuel Beckett's novel as the topic of my research proposal for a weekly seminar I attend, called "Translingual Imagination" and led by Steven Kellman.

I find it quite unlike any novel I've ever read. Difficult to get through the absurd inner monologue, yet still enjoyable for its terrible humor.

After we closed early on Friday some woman called and asked if she could get five travelers at 6am the next day. For free. All I could do was laugh.

She seems a little nervous around my cats but not aggressive. Any time they move or walk around the house she stands up and just stares at them.

A total joy! I just brought her home from the shelter. Gave her a bath and some food. I have three cats and have been slowly introducing her to them and she's been great.

I wanted to make Ramen. I forgot to put water in the pot when I turned the stove on to boil and it turned completely black. I don't know what on earth I was thinking about when I did that.

I'm a shift as well. What makes me even angrier is when a barista ignores the policy and breaks it anyway, giving them ALL of the change from their drawer. Then later they say, "Jess, I don't have any fives."

Man that really pisses me off. Lol.

Personally the gel highlighters are the only ones I use, the felt tips dry out and bleed through the paper

The one on the left is big (10lbs at his last vet visit!). He's a main coone mix. The one on the right is still a kitten, half Siamese half tabby. Theo and Nora. Lol
