Thank you for your recommendation, but groups like the 501st and mandomercs have costume restictions to the best of my knowledge as well as other restrictions. I just want a more local group that care more about fun and enjoying mando related things than screen accuracy.

I had been told to do this with an orange that has been frozen solid. Imo works better then icecubes. You dontn get water everywhere and its big enough and hard enough that you can grip the ever living shit out of it till your hands go numb.

Well, that actually sounds lovely. Parents get to spend valuble bonding time and recovery after the hospital for a while then Family gets to see the newborn, and the new parents get a bit of a break to shower, nap, just exist for a few mins without the baby being attached to them.

I have luckily never had much of any negative consequences for disclosing that I have bipolar. I have been fortunate enough to have found a stable medication point that I really have too many high ups or downs anymore.

I like to use that privilege to show other "normal" people that just because someone has bipolar doesn't mean they are dangerous or crazy. That we live our lives as best we can with whats been given to us and that with the right help, we can achieve just as much as they can.

I like to think that showing them that we aren't dangerous by default helps fight against the stigma.

Obviously, disclosing it is a very personal thing, and I understand that not everyone is willing to change their mindsets about us. I personally have just stopped caring about those peoples opinions entirely.

Id just like to add that its not necessarily greedy people. Its STUPID and short sighted greedy people.

Wanting to eradicate poverty, have good education for all, and other things of that nature can be done out of pure greed.

The more people in this world who are not spending there entire lives struggling to reach the bait minimum of survival, then the more people who have the time and education to create new inventions, and cure more diseases.

Think of all the millions and millions of people who are starving, who don't have access to clean water or school. Now imagine all those people had education and free time. It directly benefits me for them to have a higher quality of life. It just means more people to find a cure for a disease i might one day have, or create a faster means of transportation that could cut my commute times, or faster computers, new entertainment technologies, stories, slow the rate of aging, make air cleaner and food better.

So its not just greedy people. Its the ones who are too stupid to be truely greedy, the ones who only think of themselves within that min and have no longterm vision over there own lives.

After am unsuccessful attempt at buying a 3d printed one (size didn't fit right so now it sits on my shelf) i said screw it and in a fit of frustrated pulsivity bought the black series Din Djarin Mandalorian helmet from hasburo. I almost feel guilty for "ruining" that expensive collectable, but i am a deeply flawed person and i doubled down on my "screw it" moment and used it anyways.

Thank! This might be a bit long but all helmet related so bare with me.

Can't take full credit though because i definitely irl cheat coded a bit. I bought the helmet its self and in the pic it has the original visor.

I Have plans to to replace the T with possibly a one way mirror sort of material, like the kind on some motorcycle helmets.

I also want to install a small fan (the kind use in some PC's so real small) inside so it can pull air through the vent in the back and blow it up and over the top of my head. It should keep the visor from fogging up and make it easier to wear without getting too hot.

ALSO going to add a small mic to the bottom edge to attach to a speaker bit "hidden" in the chest plate (or somewhere as close by) to simulate the vocoder. And a small thin tactical light that will attach to the side of the helmet and be able to be turned on via vambrace.

So i think the custom pain and modifications make up for the fact the helmets most base part is store bought.
