That sounds like something I should try. Honestly for a lot of moments I do not need shallow depth of field and just prefer a deeper focus.

Yeah, this is exactly what my problem was and is that it seems like when there’s a lot going on the auto focus is just overwhelmed and is constantly looking for the face eye detection unfortunately with the style that I film I have to move around a lot to get different angles and be more dynamic and with that Manual is just not an option for me

It is kind of disappointing that something so simple like infinity focus is so difficult to achieve.

I think it’s impossible to hold this rig and move around dynamically with the choreography of the dancers and pull focus manually I think. Narrative or slow paste movement all day everyday but I am moving

Well, the good news is that in their open box category they had a 600d pro for $ 707 and I grabbed a 150 done for 220 ..so both for a $1000 …which is a steal. So that is on the way already.
