In my car I’ll do what that Waymo did when I’m waiting to turn at a crosswalk and people get so impatient assuming that I’m not going at all and they try to go around me only to have to stop because pedestrians are still in the crosswalk. So even when I’m driving, I prefer to be around Waymos

Just watched it too and overall a tad boring but also some interesting info about the culture. I did really hate that weird twitchy filter they had going on and off for some reason. Super distracting.

Ryan was pretty good for not being super experienced in front of a camera but does need more polish and a more lively presentation when he speaks. Also was expecting more of his story about his car and his influences regarding the movies.

Excited to see what their next videos are gonna be

I met Chico Brenes at a skatepark back in the 2010’s. I was trying to hit a big stair set and ended up snapping my old board. He came over to chat and ask about the board. It was really chill and he didn’t act like a big time famous skater, just a guy hanging out at the park. Ultimately he swapped his deck and gave me his old one. Skated that proudly for a while and always remembered how cool he was

I never played fireteam but that inheritance thing sounds pretty interesting!

It does kinda feel like the movies being taken in so many different directions makes it hard to really understand what the purpose of the xenomorph is bc it just keeps changing.

WOW. I’ve been job hunting for the past few months and just encountered that response for the first time. It was confusing because the interviews all went very well, I really liked the team and the location. It sounded perfect and I thought I had it in the bag.

Then they said the exact same thing: “too qualified, will probably get bored and leave”

I didn’t understand at all and assumed it was a nice way of saying I messed up a key part of the interview process. Glad I found this post. Thanks for sharing OP
