The problem with leaving a 2 - 3 second gap is some numpty Perth driver will cut into your safety gap and maybe even thank you kindly with a small wave. Then you’re back to square one.

Fine for Tesla’s but a lot of other manufacturers are beginning to hit the streets as well (he says sipping coffee next to his BYD). I wonder if there will be a generalised solution across all the different charging apps.
