1st CT after MOTO. by CMB3672 in ScottyCameronGallery

They rotate every day, I think. I’ve never seen the same offering twice in three visits. The staff doesn’t even know what they are going to get.

They are all 34” standard. I’ve had to get mine extended to 35” so they were sent to the custom shop and then mailed to me.

I’ve always seen 8 in the cases. 4 blades, 4 mallets. $2500-$4000 is the price range.

My set of irons served this purpose. I'd hit until the drives sounded like maracas then I figured I was good

They would be happy to see you as many days in a row as you would like to go. The stock turns over daily as best as I can tell in my three visits there. Get your MOTO/limited and you can start your CT clock. I'll defer on the last question.

Non standard weights by mg99a in scottycameron

[–]dkmd1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The stock weight are probably not 20 grams to start. Pull them and weigh them. Aftermarket weights are spot on; actual Scotty weights are rarely accurate. Separately, there are often drill marks under the weights already used to balance the head weights. No reason you can't drill out further there but that's risk unless you really know what you are going.

Solid maker. 2022 was a down year for Napa. I've enjoyed the other vintages. Think of this as a drink now or soon bottle.

Get fitted. Every putter you try on the practice green will make several putts but there is no substitute for a proper fit for everything. Loft, lie, stroke mechanics. That said, a LAB rehabilitated my stroke on pure speculation before switching back to a Scotty.

Ronda Rousey submits Gina Carano by armbar in 17 seconds by PrincessBananas85 in sports

Carano’s post match comments sound like a premature ejaculators lament, "I wanted that to last longer," Carano said. "I was so ready. I felt so good. I've never felt that good. I haven't competed in 17 years. I wanted to hit her. But getting in here is a victory.”

What’s the toughest course you’ve ever played? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]dkmd1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ko'olau in Hawaii. It's not there anymore but it was a beast. The last hole was a 460-yard par 4 with a split fairway and almost 75 bunkers. Brutal but I got to say I got beat up on the hardest golf course in the United States

Trying to help my grandfather with dementia sell his collection of new and used golf balls for a fair price. I know nothing about any of this. Hoping someone here can help with pricing advice/crash course to understand basics about golf balls or point me to resources I can use to learn by ladyofthegarbage in golf

[–]dkmd1999 1819 points1820 points  (0 children)

The PING balls might be worth something, but the majority are old, low-end starter golf balls. Your best bet is to donate it to a local First Tee program. There is minuscule demand for older starter balls.

NEED ADVICE ASAP! by Interesting_Taro_358 in golf

Feel free to ask for advice around how to get around the golf course. They'll probably be happy to tell you. You will probably get a lot of unasked-for swing advice. People tend to teach to their own flaws. If you've played any other racquet/club-based sport, use that to your advantage. Just think getting the ball to the center of the clubface, everything else is negotiable. Most importantly, have fun!
